Tip For Parents
Be mindful that the behavior you model has a tremendous impact on your daughters. Take an honest inventory of the messages you are sending about physical appearance. The majority of mothers criticize their own looks. If you are concerned about your weight, keep your focus on the health aspect and not the weight and how you look. Self-deprecation teaches our daughters to not feel good about themselves. Never criticize their looks.
